How important is a kitchen scale?

If you really care about your weight and if you really care about the number of calories you eat every day then you should have a kitchen scale. The nutrition facts of most raw stuff in the kitchen are known, so you just need a scale to weight them and calculate the total calories you get every day. Then you will know better how many calories you should burn!

Whenever I buy some meat I want to weight it and divide it into few parts to put each piece in a different plastic bag in fridge. This way I save my time and I also keep my diet healthy. For this purpose I need a scale. They are many kinds of them and you can of course find some digital scales.
