tuning a laser

You know how interesting it is when you send a beam into a house made laser's cavity and monitor its power is going up. The process of aligning the cavity is so tricky that I always compare it with brain surgery (I actually do not know how tricky that is though!). Unfortunately we can not use our laser for medical purposes.
