Financial plans

I have been thinking all day that I should have a financial plan for my near future. As a student whose only financial support is the assistantship from the University, I should have a work plan beside my studies. It could be a work which need a little investment but makes a big difference in my monthly income. I was always lazy to follow up my plans but I think I should do that to make some money.
